- The Aransas County Airport is in the midst of a multi-year
Capital Improvement Programt
with the Texas Department of Transportation,
Aviation Division.
The planned improvements will include:
- 2005 - Project Engineering $300,000.00 (Completed)
- 2007 - Reconstruct & Mark Rwy 14/32 $3.3M (Completed)
- 2007 - Project Engineering for Rwy 18/36 improvements (Completed)
- 2007 - Reconstruct & Mark Rwy 18/36 $2.45M (Completed)
- 2008/2009 - Construct new parallel taxiway and reconstruct all
others (Completed)
- 2011 - Construct "Game Fence" around Airport
perimeter $710,000.00
- 2012 - Expand terminal Apron, Construct Large Box
